Asus Motherboard Lan Drivers For Windows Xp 32 Bit
-Operating System: Windows 10
Okay guys, so here's the issue. I recently built a new machine with the motherboard listed above, I installed a wifi card in it which works fine, but I can NOT for the life of me get ethernet working. My computer either doesn't launch the driver installation when it's from ASUS, or doesn't recognize that I have Intel LAN when doing a driver installation from Intel. I have done the following:
-Attempted downloading the Intel LAN driver from the motherboard's included disk. When running it from the disk's menu, it appears that it works and will tell you to restart. but nothing actually occurs. When going into the 'Drivers' file on the disk, neither the 'AsusSetup or Autorun' will launch anything. Here's a screenshot of the drivers that won't install http://i.imgur.com/jUm6UaG.png
-Went on ASUS's website for my motherboard/OS (http://support.asus.com/Download.aspx?SLanguage=en&m=Z170-AR&p=1&s=50) and downloaded the Intel LAN driver. Once again, I tried running the AsusSetup/Autorun and nothing happens.
-Went on Intel's website and found their most recent driver for 64 bit Win10 Intel LAN (https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25016/Network-Adapter-Driver-for-Windows-10) and this time was given this error message when going through their installation process http://imgur.com/wmrCu2W
-Went into BIOS and disabled/re-enabled the Intel LAN . also did not work.

Any help would be seriously appreciated. I've been at this for hours!
**I also get a 'Fatal Error' when installing the most recent chipset driver from Asus's website. Probably related. But the only issue with my machine is the lack of ethernet. The light on my motherboard DOES turn on when I plug in an ethernet cable.
